Sales Representative
Position Overview:
We PROVIDE you with two or more PRE-QUALIFIED LEADS every day. NO COLD CALLING, and NO DOOR KNOCKING are necessary! You will NEVER run out of people to meet or opportunities to sell with this company!
1. Geography:
Your sales territory will be concentrated in the area surrounding the branch office for which you are hired, but appointments may, at times, be farther north and south of these locations.
2. Travel:
You must have reliable transportation to drive to your appointments. There may be occasions requiring an overnight stay, but this happens very rarely.
3. Leads:
The average work day for a representative consists of presenting two appointments (or more if you have the drive); typically either a morning and an afternoon, or an afternoon and an evening appointment. This can vary daily.
4. Independence:
This job provides a high level of Independence for those who seek it and unlimited support for those who want it. It's very simple - your appointments for each day are sent to you in the morning and you report your results for each appointment over the phone! We are here to give you the tools to be successful and maximize your time spent selling in the field! Ongoing training in our Sales Meetings is provided to maximize your selling potential!
5. Work Hours:
We are ideally looking for people who are available Mon-Fri 9am to 10pm, and Saturday mornings through afternoons. Sundays and one additional predetermined flex day off between Tues and Fri. Additional hours equal additional opportunities to take appointments and close sales. More closed sales equal more commission $$. Plus, this window of availability accomodates all appointment times.

7. Customers:
Our customers are residential homeowners. We generate these appointments through a variety of channels, inside sales, referrals, home shows, canvassing, and direct mail. Marketing sets, confirms and pre-qualifies all appointments for you, so you will never have to find your own business (though self-generation bonuses are available if you follow up with customers you have sold and generate incremental business). The most important and only requirement is that you respect the appointments and do not miss them!
8. Sales Strategy:
We will teach you a time-tested, consultative sales process that has proven to be highly effective. Our most successful salespeople ask good questions and aggressively pursue "one-call-closes." However, they are never so aggressive that they burn bridges - we may have numerous other opportunities to sell to each prospect over time!
9. Commissions:
Commissions depend on the sale amount, but the average commission is about $1,400 - $1,500. Our average reps sell two deals each week. Your performance and drive will determine your level of compensation. There are also bonus programs for exceptional performance. Details will be discussed during your interview.
